Trunking Radio Communications

Trunking is the Trends of Radio Telecommunications in the new Radio Communications Networks. The Idea behind the Trunking Radio Communication solutions is to have dynamics sharing and allocations of the channels by the Trunking System Infrastructure. Trunking Systems Provides a better channels utilization i.e. when a user place a call the Trunking Systems will automatically allocates a free channel and the call will pass through.

  • MPT1327 Trunking Communications

British Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPT) created MPT1327 as an OPEN PROTOCOL and INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS for Radio Trunking. Now it is the widest Protocol used for Trunking Radio Telecommunications around the world.

MPT 1327 trunking is ideally suited for providing individual or group calls, and offers fast call set up time along with a wide range of advanced features and functionality to support field units. Examples of such features include emergency and priority call management, status messaging, dynamic regrouping of users, and data/text messaging.

  • Tetra Trunking Communications

Tetra is a Terrestrial Trunking Radio, it is an International Protocol for a secure, digital, Trunked Personal Mobile Radio System (PMR), and it is specially designed for Public Safety and professional Cellular Markets and incorporates a specialized range of infrastructure, terminals and related products.

Tetra Systems incorporates many of the features of GSM Communications, as well as many specialist communications features such as instant call access, one-to-many calling, greater resilience, priority emergency supports, specialist data applications and enhanced security.

For organizations such as the Emergency services and utility companies, Tetra provides a secure efficient tailored communications solution that allows multi tasks to be performed simultaneously, securely and to maximum efficiency, with in a user-defined framework.

Conventional Radio Communication

Conventional Systems is the most popular type of Two-Way radio system in existence.

It has a range from analogue, voice-only communications over a confined area to country-wide integrated voice and data networks with digital signaling, voting, multicast and simulcast broadcasting.

Today’s conventional systems offer many capabilities beyond basic talk and listen such as the following: -

  • Caller ID.
  • Scrambling.
  • Data Communications.
  • Over air controlling.

Conventional Systems are not complicated, economical and especially when channel congestion and channel management is of lesser concern. And conventional systems can be easily upgraded. Customers can start with simple systems and they can upgrade later on to trunking Systems. Finally just adding more sites can easily expand conventional systems.
