Tellabs 6310 Edge Node

The Tellabs® 6310 Edge Node is a compact plug-and-play solution for multiple applications in access and customer premises supplying 2, 34/45, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet. It is a complete add/drop or terminal multiplexer housed in a single, highly scalable system. It is well-suited for access network applications and meets the requirements for customer premises equipment.

Tellabs 6320 Edge Node
The Tellabs® 6320 Edge Node been specially designed to enhance the functionality of the access and regional part of the SDH network. This unit offers a complete, compact multi-service add/drop multiplexer and terminal multiplexer with an STM-1 or STM-4 line interface.

The Tellabs 6320 node handles a wide range of applications in the network, from single point-to-point systems to advanced rings and ring inter-working. The node supports a full range of PDH interfaces, STM-1 optical or electrical interfaces as well as Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet.

Customer Benefits:

- The ADM or TM are implemented on a single module with add/drop of 21 x E1 (2 Mbps). This reduces the size of the unit in comparison with similar equipment.
- The node is based on modules with a very high level of functional integration in a few components, which makes this solution very compact and cost-efficient.

The Tellabs 6320 node can be offered in a variety of mechanical solutions, all based on the same platform and using the same embedded software.
 
 
Tellabs 6330 Core Node
The Tellabs® 6330 Core Node provides a flexible managed transport solution designed for ease of use and prepared for growth. Based on a highly modular design, this unit enables the configuration of add/drop multiplexers (ADM), terminal multiplexers (TM) and regenerators from the same hardware platform. As the building blocks are common for all applications, spare parts stock as well as service and maintenance costs are reduced to a minimum.

- A full SDH network with rings and nodes at STM-4 to STM-16 level can be configured from the Tellabs 6330 node, providing a flexible and upgradable network.
- The wide range of optical interface types allows for flexible network designs where network elements can be configured for specific capacity requirements.

The Tellabs 6345 node is a multi-service provisioning platform (MSPP), which has been specially designed to enable a wide range of data, voice, and leased line applications.
